It entirely depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for fun, crazy missions then The Ballad of Gay Tony is more your thing. However, if you prefer a good, deep storyline and like riding motorcycles then The Lost and Damned may be what you are looking for.
I think their both great games, but would said the lost and damned because the missions are a little bit more challenging than the ballad of gay tony.
Unfortunately you do not have the same replay missions option (on the mobile phone) in The Lost & Damned as you do in The Ballad Of Gay Tony.

If u hav a lot of time on ur hands then GTA 4 is best. but if ur quite busy then lost and damned is good to. You might want to get episodes from liberty city that has lost and damned and ballad of gay tony on 1 disc and u dont need normal gta to pl thanks

No, unfortunately, it is only available for the Xbox 360. NEWS UPDATE: Episodes From Liberty City, which includes The Lost & Damned, and The Ballad Of Gay Tony, are due to be released for the PS3 and PC in mid-April this year.
From 30 March, Episodes From Liberty City (which includes The Lost & Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony) will be available on disk for PS3 and PC. Each game is also available separately on download.
