By looking at the sleeve of the game cover, there is normally a 4 letter word with 5 numbers underneath. This is your game ID.
US/NTSC-U Games: SLUS-XXXXX
EU/PAL Games: SLES-XXXXX
JP/NTSC-J Games: SLPS-XXXXX
It can be found on the CD face as well. And if you insert the CD into your computer, there is a file named as the game ID but it may have some underscores and/or periods in it that may need to be removed.
If you can't find it you could look on Google for the game name (eg. "Gran Turismo 4 Game ID") or something similar.
Hope this helps.

There is no software which will convert a PS2 Game Disc into a PC game Disc. PS2 emulation could allow a PC to play a PS2 game if you could find and download a reliable emulation

An easy way to find out if your PS2 is modded is to put in a game that has been pirated. If it plays then the PS2 has been modified.
