depends wher u live if ur in the UK the 60gb is better as it has 4 usb ports has 3 card readers and can play ps2 game but in the us the 80gb is better
-eyes fire2- 60 gb best all they way 80's can't play ps2 games
no Besides an 80 gigabyte is a better deal Im thinkin Arbys Now they make a 120GB and 250 GB slim model PS3
the 60gb ps3 has a bigger hardrive, card readers, 4 usb ports and backward compatability for ps2and ps1 games. ( the 60gb is far better).note: the 60gb ps3 is dicontinued
Well, it's not on how better it is, but how much memory you have in your hard drive. A 60GB PS3 has less memory than an 80GB PS3. So therefore, an 80BG PS3 is better, if that's what you want to call it.The first 60GB was the most expensive to make and to purchase and is a better collectible and has high resale value. The second 60 GB that came out with the first 80 GB is better than any other 80 GB except the first 80 GB that also came with 4 USB ports. It is because of the equipment that is no longer present in newer PS3 that the models are considered better and not for the harddrive size. Either are very useful for hard drive size when compared to the PS3 slim 250 GB see related links
ps3 80 gb.
No the 20 GB model and the 80 GB 4 USB port model PS3 also play PS2 games besides the PS2 console
A 80 gb will hold more memory.. you can use the 80 gb more if you plan on haveing your ps3 a while and plan on having alot of games
60GB and other models with 4 USB ports
80GB. The only difference between the two are the hard drive capacities.
The smallest production size was 20 GB released in November 2006 with the 60GB model, later a 40 GB and then an 80 GB models were released. The last fat PS3 with a different hard drive size released was a special edition PS3 160 GB model and the first slim PS3 models were 120 GB and 250 GB. The current production is only for the 160 GB and 320 GB PS3 slim models
A PS3 250 GB Slim for only $349.99 USA retail is much better for those who don't care about backwards compatibility. For those who do care about backwards compatibility and some other lost PS3 features the first PS3 60 GB is clearly the best.
It Depends what gb ps3 you have. To play ps2 games you have 2 have a 40gb or a 60gb
the 60gb but they ain't in production anymore and to be honest i wouldn't buy one offline because the games are getting so good with the techonology they can actually break a 60gb because it cant handle it it takes time but its not worth it really i had a 60gb and i got rid of it for a 80gb when they first came out and although it cant play ps2 its gave me no problems i even kicked it ( i was angry ) and it didnt even crash the game! lol but i know of 60's that are breaking down now :/ Any PS3 with 4 USB ports can play PS2 games for some titles. The first 20GB and 60 GB models worked better than the 2nd ones which were 60 GB and 80 GB.
