"I Love Lucy" was set in New York City, the Upper East Side of Manhattan, specifically. After finally being able to afford their own home, though, they made the move to the more affluent area of Westport, Connecticut, which was, interestingly enough, where Darrin and Samantha Stephens settled, as well.
