if you have an internet connection, you can play multiplayer online, but you can't play with 2 people on 1 system. if you want to play online, press up on the "D-Pad", then press the "A" button if you are playing the Xbox 360 version ("X" if you are playing the ps3 version) then scroll down your phone with the "D-Pad" until you see the multiplayer option highlighted on niko's phone. Select that option with the "A" button if you are playing the Xbox 360 version ("X" button if you are playing the ps3 version) then select the style of multiplayer game you wish to play on, then BAM!!! you're playong multiplayer on GTA4!!
