The most exciting and fun way to get a Rhino tank, and keep it, is to go into Area 69, which will be highly dangerous, but you can always try and jetpack in or chopper in, and find the Rhino there, drive it out of the compound and over to Verdant Meadows airstrip and stash it in the large hangar at the bottom of the airstrip, then save the game at the office opposite.

I managed to do this the first time round, and it was great fun.
