May be you....in my li-iife. It may be yooouuu….turning off all my lights. It might be love that kept on turning on-off-on-off and it may be yooouuu….that I envy. -May Be You by Emily Haverty. Thats me!
That is a good thing. You want the turn signals to work.
Bad switch? Bad hazard flasher?
The lever you move to activate the turn signals is the multifunction switch.
A burnt out signal bulb, a faulty blinker relay, a faulty blinker switch, a loose connection or a broken wire are all things that can cause the turn signals not to operate properly.
You may find that the turn signal switch in the steering wheel is bad.
Your turn signals may not be blinking properly because something may be wrong with the wiring or fuses. Take your Harley to an authorized dealer to have diagnostic testing done.
Probably the turn signal flasher
The 1991 Mercury Capri has one fuse dedicated to the turn signals, which is typically located in the fuse box. It's essential to check the owner's manual for the exact location and amperage of the fuse, as this can vary. If the turn signals are not functioning, inspecting this fuse is a good first step in troubleshooting the issue.
It is either a blown fuse, defective Flasher Relay, defective turn signal switch, blown bulbs, or loose or corroded bulb socket. If none of the turn signals flash, then the flasher is bad. Replace it.
Try replacing the turn signal flasher
Check for burnt out bulbs and could be a bad flasher as well.
Turn signals just quit working- have replaced flasher- checked all bulbs and fuses, checked all obvious wires, cleaned grounds, replaced the turn signal switch (that was an adventure). At a loss- any help out there? Hazards work fine- all other lights work fine- turn signals dead
